Bunfly

Bunfly is the solo of project of Paul 'Bun' Bunyan aka Tjunca B Low who was the bass player with Academy of Unrest between 1984 and 1986 along with Brian Carney aka Professesor Bubblekeys. Following the break-up of Academy of Unrest, Bun and Carney using their aliases joined Poisoned Electrick Head (PEH).

Bun and Carney had been best friends since both attended St Helens College Art School in the early 80s. In 1998 PEH was put on hold for a decade and Bun and Carney, whilst remaining best of friends still to this day, went their seperate ways.

Bun commented, "After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

"Spent more years than I can remember playing Bass with psychedelic post punk rock band Poisoned Electrick Head....hazy days indeed :-) I've spent the last 15yrs trying to recover :-) The time is now right to continue my audio adventure and I'll be more than happy for you (if you so choose) to tag along......over and out!!

"Early 2010 I decided to sell quite a lot of equipment I'd built up over the years (nothing special, a mixing console, some hardware, bits and bobs...etc) and work completely within my DAW. I've been using Cubase (I've grown up with it from my Atari STe days) as my main sequencer with a collection of plugins/soft synths....etc."

Later they both began seperate solo projects and Bun and Carney formed Bunfly and Android 80 respectively.

Bunfly has been composing, recording and producing his own music since June 2010 as well as helping, mixing and producing music for other friends and aquaintances.
