Quotes

'The northern rockers are the U.K. underground’s best-kept secret. Their album isn’t even on the major streaming services, so if you want to check out the band’s stuff, you’ll have to head over to their Bandcamp page. And you really should, because Effigy is a gem of a record.' - Alt Press

“Scarlet should be fucking massive. A shimmering, strutting and sexy record ‘Effigy’ is jam-packed with indie- rock bangers which ooze class. Quite simply the best indie album we’ve heard in a long time” - HeadFirst4Music

“Marrying the modern pop savvy of Paramore to the ethereal otherness of Belly, Scarlet take aim at the pop dartboard and land joyously close to the bullseye” - The Skinny

‘Unsurprisingly, a stunning piece of work’ - The John Peel Centre

'Has the UK finally found our very own Patti smith or Karen O which we have all so longed for!!?? Lets fuckin’ hope so!!’ - Urbanista online magazine

‘One of the North-West’s most hotly-tipped up-and-comers, they’re most certainly not to be missed before the big-time comes calling’ - GetIntoThis
